During the meeting four significant digital healthcare research and innovation directions were spotlighted: 1) Applications of artificial intelligence (AI) to create multi-sided value to the patients and doctors; 2) New models of ownership and governance of healthcare data as a public good; 3) Innovative business model which combines public benefits with financial returns; 4) Co-creation and collective ownership models in digital healthcare.
